INTRODUCTION:
John F. Prentice has practiced law in State and Federal Courts representing clients in matters of family law, employment disputes, criminal cases and business related matters in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1979. Mr. Prentice has extensive experience representing public employees and was one of the principle attorneys representing the San Francisco Police Officers Association from 1982 - 1995. With over 28 years of experience, Mr. Prentice has received the Martindale-Hubbell AV rating which indicates very high to preeminent legal ability and very high ethical standards as established by confidential opinions from members of the Bar.

Nancy E. Thomas has been in practice for over 30 years. She spent five years as a Prosecuting Attorney in Del NorteCounty and Solano County where she conducted over 65 jury trials. For the past six years she has engaged solely in the practice of Family Law which includes pre-nuptial agreements, divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, division of community assets and debts, and the division of retirement assets. Nancy E. Thomas is a trained and certified Family Law Mediator. She is a member of the California Bar Association since 1977, a member of the Contra Costa County Bar Association and the Board of Directors of the Family Law Section, Contra Costa County Bar.
